Chip Party!

28th of November 2019,

The photos are documentations of an interactive experience I constructed at the sculpture party at the end of November. It was hosted by myself and my peers, who I share a studio with. The concept was designed to getting people involved and engaged in the work in a lighthearted way that responded to the atmosphere. A production line, where a real chip was trade for a clay chip. There was no waste! As the event progressed and more chips where eaten my mound of clay chip rapidly grew! As shown in the picture below. The interaction hugely benefited from the easy present in the air. It was a good way of testing out sculptural participatory piece whilst learn how important it is to mould them to the environment. Furthermore, this encaging transaction helped stimulate the joy of the event and sparked conversation between people who would not necessarily talk.

At the very bottom, the last image, are the glazed chip everyone made.
